Aykut C. Satici

Associate Professor of Systems Engineering

I lead the Robot Control Lab. My research brings together robotics, nonlinear control, and machine learning, using mathematical models, optimization, and learning to study locomotion and manipulation.

Before joining UT Dallas in January 2026, I was a faculty member at Boise State University and a postdoctoral researcher at MIT and the University of Naples Federico II.
